The Old and the Restless

Sarah and Philip,  high school sweethearts. We remember when she was a baby. During the 1984 election, Tom came to help, carrying  Sarah in a "Snugli". Paul's cousin, Tom, father of the bride. The parents of the bride, Tom and Glenna, with Sarah and Philip. The bridesmaids wore black. Paul and Aunt Hannah, Sarah's grandmother. Paul dressed very casually for this wedding. Perhaps he thought he was in Switzerland! Thirty-eight years ago when cousin Tom was invited to Daryl and Jane's wedding, he begged his parents to buy him a suit jacket because he felt that he could not attend the wedding without one. Is Daryl telling family secrets? A toast! Jane commenting. Sarah changed into a 100 year-old robe belonging to Philip's grandmother for the Chinese tea ceremony. A beautiful, unusual wedding cake. Someone remarked that it looked like a Tiffany box. Unfortunately, we left before I was able to taste it.
