Cycling to Elora

This weekend a committee from the Toronto Bicycle Network went to Conestogo College in Kitchener to check out bicycle routes for Cyclon -  three days of cycling for about 300 people which will be held on the August 1st long weekend. Paul and Carole's husband, Roy, checked out the easiest routes, while Carole and I checked out routes that were the next category up. All together there are 5 categories of rides. The rest of the committee did the harder rides. Unfortunately I forgot my bike shoes which clip into my pedals. While trying out these shoes in the parking lot, I crashed. Above is an injury where my pedal scraped one leg. My arms and the other leg were cut and bruised also. Perhaps my doctor put a hex on me insisting I have a tetanus shot before going cycling this weekend. Because it was Sunday we passed several carriages of Mennonites.
