Triplets Visit

Nephew Daren, his wife, Kyla and and their triplets have moved from Nova Scotia to Toronto. They are living two streets away from Megan and Michael.
While Daren was on business in Miami, Kyla's friend, Kelly came to stay with them. They walked through the rain and the fog for the exercise and a visit with us. While they were at our flat, I forgot to take photos, so after they left, I ran after them to get some... and just followed them home.

The three boys and Kyla. William (on the left) looks just like Daren and his grandfather, Bill. They each have different personalities. Jack was adventurous, ready to give a smile, and wanted to wander around our flat. Will was upset by the new person talking to him (me) and needed to be comforted by Kelly.  Callum stayed with Kyla.

Lunch time. Callum likes to have a toy for each hand at the table. Jack is in the middle and 
William is on the right. (Hope I have the names right)

wow, I'm impressed. I have trouble keeping Alicia at the table! She loves to run around the table while we are eating shouting "j'ai gagné, j'ai gagné". Getting all 3 dressed to go outside must be difficult too. I bet she can't wait for warm weather.

That's a great idea for the stroller. I can't imaging having to get 3 toddlers dressed to go out or fed at the same time!

Daryl and I both laughed aloud at the same time as we could picture you running down the street after them all. You got nice photos! The run was worth it!

We gathered with Mark’s parents and Megan Paul and Tom at Mark and Margot’s place in Barrie. I did a selfie with Josh’s phone. Josh and Ella Megan, Paul and Tom wore masks when they were not eating Note Tom's special mask Mark's parents, Dolores and Bob At the table. Unfortunately my head is in front of Tom. Bob and Dolores had stayed there to look after the dogs while Mark, Margot, Joshua and Ella were in Europe. During that time, Bob, looking for something to do, washed all the wine glasses in the chandelier. Margot bruléed sugar on top of the pumpkin pie. It was the best ever. Disappearing fast! The salted caramel apple tart, which Margot also made, had an extra good flavour. Guess who cleaned up!

A November Walk

To make the most of the nice fall weather which was about to end, Megan suggested we meet for a walk at the Brickworks. Because there is a market on Saturday, it was difficult for Paul and I to find parking. We had to wait until we could find someone who was leaving. In the photo Tom is on a wall above the valley of the Brickworks, which was a quarry in the past for the red brick of Toronto. Tom, Megan, Paul and Paul on the wall. Megan’s Dutch tandem bike was of interest to some of the market goers. No problem parking with a bike.

A Busy Week

On Friday Paul and I, Carole and Roy went to Gary’s new place on Sturgeon Lake near Fenelon Falls. Gary is a member of the Toronto Bicycle Network (TBN). When the large winterized cottage came for sale beside his cottage, he decided to buy it and sell his house in Toronto. He has kept his original cottage as well. His children and grandchildren like to visit. Carole and Roy took their bikes and firewood for Gary. Paul and I brought our bikes and Charles (also a member of the club, and a minister)  Charles was minister at this church one summer. There are 4 churches, each a different denomination, in one block in Fenelon Falls Next we visited the local farmer’s market to check on the butter tarts. We then rode10 km on the trail to a chip wagon for lunch., plus 10 km return. Charles is not going very fast these days. It was a very slow ride.
